60 Hyde Park Gate Hotel: Construction work continues

Work continues on the 60 Hyde Park Hotel Gate Hotel, undertaken by appointed contractors Clifford Devlin. Scaffolding is expected to stay up until late 2027, when the hotel is due to reopen.

Accor, the French hotel group, took over the lease of the former Baglioni Hotel at the start of 2025, and began construction work in the summer.

While the building looks to not have changed much over the recent months, the team have been tackling the internal elements of the hotel as part of the initial strip out. You will see external noticeboards around the site to keep members of the public informed of updates.

Deliveries to site will continue to be delivered via De Vere Gardens, and designated Traffic Marshalls will continue to direct traffic. Echoing Clifford Devlin, we would like to issue a friendly reminder that building sites are not suitable playgrounds for children!

Site hours remain 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

You can read the two newsletters, including emergency contact details and site contacts here.
